On February 23, CHABAIDAO data revealed that during the Spring Festival period, group orders of five cups or more increased by 1.5 times compared to usual days. Sales were led by five major tourist hotspots: Chongqing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hangzhou. Additionally, "niche travel" emerged as a key trend, with lesser-known destinations such as Jiayuguan in Gansu, Aba Prefecture in Sichuan, Qianjiang in Hubei, Shuozhou in Shanxi, and Guigang in Guangxi making the top ten list for sales growth. Some stores in scenic areas saw sales surge by as much as 4500%.

According to CHABAIDAO representatives, during the holiday, fresh fruit tea was more popular in Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Beijing, while fresh milk tea was favored in Guangxi, Zhejiang, and Tibet. Meanwhile, consumers from Hunan, Shanghai, and Jiangxi showed a stronger preference for "multi-ingredient milk tea" with richer textures. Among new products, the roasted tea series—including the collaborative "Peanut Baked Nougat" with Hsu Fu Chi—sold nearly one million cups.
