US Stocks Fluctuate | Most Chip Stocks Rise, While Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US) Declines 0.8%

On Thursday, most chip stocks saw gains, although Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US) fell 0.8% to $302.61. The company reported a Q3 net profit of NT$452.3 billion, a 39% year-over-year increase, surpassing the forecast of NT$405.47 billion. The gross margin for the third quarter was 59.5%, an improvement from 58.6% in the previous quarter and above analysts' expectations of 57.1%. NVIDIA (NVDA.US) rose over 1.2%, Micron Technology (MU.US) gained more than 5%, ASML (ASML.US) increased by over 1.4%, Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) rose by more than 1%, and AMD (AMD.US) climbed 0.8%.
