Weigang Environmental Technology Holding Group Limited (WG ENV TECH) has confirmed the appointment of Xu Anli as joint company secretary, effective 1 April 2026, following conditional approval from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX).
Xu Anli, who joined the group in December 2022 and currently serves as assistant company secretary, brings more than a decade of experience in corporate investment, financing and governance. Her previous roles include securities affairs representative at Guangzhou Createview Education Technology Co., Ltd. and managerial positions at Shenzhen Howah Network Communication Co., Ltd. Xu holds master’s degrees in Chinese Literature and Economics and is pursuing a Master of Corporate Governance and Compliance Review.
Because Xu does not yet meet the professional qualification requirements under HKEX Listing Rule 3.28, the exchange has granted a waiver covering Rules 3.28 and 8.17 for three years from 1 April 2026. Key conditions include:
1. Ongoing assistance from current joint company secretary Pang Kit during the waiver period. 2. Possible revocation if WG ENV TECH commits material breaches of the Listing Rules. 3. Demonstration before the end of the waiver period that Xu has gained sufficient experience to act independently, eliminating the need for further waivers.
WG ENV TECH will provide Xu with no fewer than 15 hours of relevant professional training annually, as stipulated under Rule 3.29.
The board believes Xu’s familiarity with the group’s operations and her regulatory expertise will strengthen secretarial functions, corporate governance and investor relations. Chairman Cai Zhuhua signed the announcement on behalf of the board on 1 April 2026.
As of the announcement date, WG ENV TECH’s board comprises three executive directors—Cai Zhuhua, Dong Honghui and Li Kaiyan—and three independent non-executive directors—Chi Weijun, Xiao Hui and Xiao Jingui.
