On January 8, Chagee Holdings Limited unveiled its "2025 Year-End Friends Review," revealing that over the past year, the brand's stores have expanded to 8 countries across 2 continents. Its annual tea procurement volume has surpassed the ten-thousand-ton scale, and it now collaborates with over 100 tea factories.
According to the "2025 Year-End Friends Review," Chagee's global store network now covers China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and the United States.
Driven by its overseas expansion, Chagee's membership base in the Asia-Pacific overseas markets surged 177% year-on-year in 2025, with 61% of these members being under the age of 30. Markets including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines witnessed particularly explosive membership growth, increasing by approximately 4 times, 5.4 times, 20 times, and 11 times, respectively.
On overseas social media platforms, discussions related to Chagee increased by about 250% year-on-year. Keywords such as "tea," "tea culture," and "tea lifestyle" have become new focal points for young local consumers.
The signature product "Boyajuexian" has also become a global phenomenon. Data from Frost & Sullivan shows that from January 2022 to June 2025, the cumulative sales of "Boyajuexian" exceeded 1.25 billion cups.
The Chagee "2025 Year-End Friends Review" indicates that "Boyajuexian" ranked as the top-selling item in stores across multiple markets, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand.
On the supply chain front, Chagee's annual tea procurement volume remained stable at the ten-thousand-ton level in 2025, with partnerships extending to over 100 tea factories. The top five tea varieties by annual usage were green tea, oolong tea, black tea, dark tea, and yellow tea. The annual procurement volume of ingredients like "Yunnan Gardenia Flower Tea" and "Peach Decaf Jasmine" saw a remarkable year-on-year growth of 100%.
Furthermore, throughout 2025, Chagee launched more than 20 new products. Within the fresh milk tea series made with whole tea leaves, over 50% of the new products incorporated floral or fruity flavor elements.
In 2025, Chagee also collaborated with upstream tea gardens, factories, and research institutions to implement over 10 process and technological innovation projects. The company was deeply involved in the development of the industry standard "Requirements for Raw and Auxiliary Materials of Freshly Made Tea Beverages," guided by the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and organized by the China Tea Marketing Association. This standard, the first of its kind for the new tea drink industry, is scheduled to take effect in 2026.
The "2025 Year-End Friends Review" also highlighted that Chagee newly built and donated 23 playgrounds for rural children in 2025 and opened 219 new 24-hour stores, averaging one new store opening every 1.7 days.
By the end of 2025, a total of 6,192 Chagee stores had enabled donation options for delivery orders, while the company had also established 25 pet-friendly stores, 14 quiet stores, and 20 local culture-themed stores. Approximately 1,340 stores participated in Chagee's "Night Cleanup Project," and 18,000 store partners were able to finish work on time.
Over the past year, more than 30 million tea enthusiasts placed orders for two or more cups of "Boyajuexian" in a single transaction for sharing and social gatherings. Group orders saw significant growth—orders for 20 cups or more increased by over 15% compared to the previous year, and orders for 100 cups or more surged by more than 40%. Particularly during the Spring Festival holiday, large orders ranging from 50 to 100 cups witnessed the highest growth, soaring by over 259% year-on-year.
