Iron and steel stocks experienced a widespread increase during the morning trading session. At the time of writing, MAANSHAN IRON (00323) was up 3.50%, trading at HKD 2.66. CHONGQING IRON (01053) saw a gain of 3.28%, reaching HKD 1.26. Angang Steel Company Limited (00347) rose by 2.45% to HKD 2.09. China Oriental Group Company Limited (00581) also advanced, increasing by 1.28% to HKD 1.58.
