On 30 October 2025, BUTONG GROUP (Stock Code: 6090) issued a notice informing registered shareholders that the company has adopted electronic dissemination of corporate communications. This approach follows Rule 2.07 of the Listing Rules regarding expanded paperless listing requirements, effective from 31 December 2023.

The company will provide both English and Chinese versions of future corporate communications on its official website (www.butong.com) and the HKEXnews website (www.hkexnews.hk) in place of printed materials. Shareholders are encouraged to supply a functional email address, either by scanning the personalized QR code on the provided reply form or by returning the form to the Hong Kong share registrar, to ensure timely receipt of communications that require shareholders’ instructions.

If shareholders do not provide a valid email address, physical copies of any actionable corporate communications will continue to be sent. Those preferring printed versions can indicate their preference by returning the reply form or emailing butonggroup.ecom@computershare.com.hk; such instructions are valid for one year from the date of receipt.
