On December 2, Li Auto's product line executive, known as "Old Tang Tango," announced via Weibo that the company recently launched a "Recall Inquiry" feature on its mobile app.

He stated that due to potential safety risks in power batteries caused by coolant issues, the company has implemented real-time cloud monitoring. If no cloud alerts or vehicle system fault messages appear, the vehicle is operating normally, and users can drive with confidence.

"In recent weeks, we have been working intensively to increase repair capacity for power batteries, and the recall repair process will accelerate. We appreciate everyone's support and understanding and apologize for the inconvenience," he added.

On the evening of October 23, a Li Auto MEGA caught fire unexpectedly while driving in Shanghai's Xuhui District. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, prompting the company to conduct internal inspections. Subsequently, Li Auto issued a recall covering 11,411 MEGA 2024 units produced between February and December 2024. The official explanation cited insufficient corrosion resistance in the coolant as a safety risk.
