Cinese Intl (01620) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing a 63% reduction in its loss attributable to shareholders.

Revenue from continuing operations for the period totaled HK$30.83 million, marking a year-on-year decrease of 11.06%. The net loss attributable to company owners was HK$4.735 million, a significant improvement compared to the previous corresponding period, with a basic loss per share of HK$0.40 cents.

According to the company's announcement, the overall revenue from continuing operations declined during the period, primarily driven by decreased contributions from its key segments. The tourism products and services division remained the primary revenue generator, contributing approximately HK$30.3 million, which accounts for around 98.3% of the total revenue from continuing operations.

This core revenue source is derived from the group's self-operated cultural tourism business in the Greater Bay Area, reflecting its strategic development focus in that region.
