NANSHAN AL INTL (02610) surged nearly 10% in afternoon trading. As of press time, the stock was up 9.92% to HK$46.08, with a turnover of HK$5.96 million.

On the news front, the quarterly review results previously announced by Hang Seng Indexes Company showed that NANSHAN AL INTL has been included in the Hang Seng Composite Index, with the changes to be implemented after market close on September 5 and take effect from September 8. The Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges will accordingly adjust the scope of investable targets under the Stock Connect scheme.

According to Huatai Securities, NANSHAN AL INTL may be added to the Stock Connect as it meets a series of criteria including market capitalization, liquidity, and listing duration.

NANSHAN AL INTL recently released its 2025 interim results, reporting revenue of $597 million, up 41% year-over-year; profit attributable to shareholders of $248 million, up 124.19% year-over-year; and proposed an interim dividend of HK$0.65 per share.

A research report noted that the company's first-half performance slightly exceeded expectations. Considering the company's current robust financial position, it declared an interim dividend for the first time, with a payout ratio of approximately 20%.
