BJ Energy I-New (00686) Signs Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract for 60MW Solar Power Project in Yunnan Province, China

BJ Energy I-New (00686) announced that on September 3, 2025, Baoneng Fengtai (a subsidiary of the Company, as the contracting party) entered into an EPC contract with a consortium (as the contractor). Under the EPC contract, the consortium will provide EPC services to Baoneng Fengtai for the construction of the EPC project, which is a solar power generation project located in Longling County, Baoshan, Yunnan Province, China, with a total planned construction capacity of 60MW. The contract price under the EPC contract is approximately RMB 148 million (including tax).

The Group has accelerated its pace in expanding the scale development of clean energy and enlarging its renewable energy business scale, which is one of the Group's key focuses in this regard. As far as the Directors are aware, China Water & Power Press Engineering Bureau No.6 Co., Ltd. and China Power Construction Group Jilin Electric Power Survey & Design Institute Co., Ltd. are both well-established companies with extensive experience in the construction and development of solar power projects in China.

The entering into of the EPC contract will align with national policies for the layout of large-scale power bases, and will enable the Company to further expand its business scale in solar power stations within the renewable energy industry and diversify its clean energy portfolio through the construction of high-quality solar power projects, thereby generating greater returns for shareholders.
