The board of Beijing Digital Telecom Co., Ltd. (BJ Digital) released supplemental details regarding its proposal to appoint SHINEWING as external auditor for the 2026 financial year, ahead of the extraordinary general meeting outlined in the 11 August 2026 circular.

The company disclosed that SHINEWING plans to devote approximately 7,200 audit hours, covering partner, senior manager, manager, project manager, senior staff, semi-senior staff and junior staff levels. Management emphasized that SHINEWING and EY would allocate comparable hours and specialist resources—both including tax and valuation experts—resulting in no material differences in audit scope or procedures.

According to the announcement, the principal reason for the lower fee quoted by SHINEWING versus EY lies in differing market presence and cost structures. EY, as a Big Four firm with a broader international network, typically applies higher overheads and hourly billing rates for partners and other audit personnel, leading to a higher overall proposal.

The supplemental release stresses that all other information in the original EGM notice and proxy form remains unchanged. The board, led by Chairwoman Xu Jili, continues to recommend shareholders approve SHINEWING’s appointment at the forthcoming meeting scheduled for 27 August 2026.
