BJ DIGITAL (HKEX: 06188) has announced that its auditor, Ernst & Young, will be stepping down.
The company stated that the decision was made following a failure to reach an agreement on audit fees for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2026.
Additionally, with Ernst & Young having served as the company's auditor for over a decade, the board considered it prudent to enhance the independence and objectivity of the audit function.
This move is intended to uphold strong corporate governance standards.
Ernst & Young's tenure is set to conclude at the end of the company's upcoming annual general meeting, which is scheduled to be held on or before June 30, 2026.
