Wolfspeed shares gained another 10% in overnight trading. The shares soared about 96% on Monday after the company named Gregor van Issum as its new chief financial officer, effective September 1. The move comes as the silicon carbide leader is undergoing a major financial restructuring to slash debt and reposition for long-term growth.
Optical stock surged 63% in overnight trading after announcing a strategic collaboration agreement with Lightera LLC to expand their product offerings for data center and enterprise markets. As part of the collaboration, Lightera has made an investment in OCC by purchasing shares of common stock, resulting in Lightera holding a 7.24% stake in OCC’s outstanding shares.
SolarEdge shares dropped another 4% after falling 4% on Monday. The stock jumped 39% the week prior after a tax on solar and wind projects was removed from Trump’s spending bill. However, the law removed federal support for solar and wind power.
