On March 28, a building collapsed on Linhai Road in Hailin City, Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province. Local fire, emergency medical services, housing and construction departments, along with other agencies, immediately organized personnel to carry out rescue operations overnight. A staff member from the Hailin Emergency Management Bureau stated that all departments arrived at the scene as soon as possible and that rescue efforts are currently ongoing. On March 29, it was learned from the Hailin municipal government office that multiple departments are fully engaged in rescue operations at the site. As of 11:00 a.m. on March 29, no reports of casualties have been received.
