Qingling Motors has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing progress on climate, resource efficiency, safety and community engagement across its commercial-vehicle operations.
Governance and Oversight • The board has ultimate responsibility for ESG matters and has embedded climate and sustainability targets into corporate strategy. • Three specialised board committees ensure oversight of nomination, audit and remuneration, while an ESG working group drives implementation.
Climate and Environmental Performance • Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas emissions totalled 31,433.65 tonnes CO2e, down 3.2 % year-on-year; emission intensity fell to 0.94 tonnes CO2e per vehicle. • RMB 10.64 million was invested in safety and environmental projects, including RMB 3.20 million for 27 China V or new-energy logistics vehicles and RMB 1.20 million to electrify 14 forklifts. • Hazardous-waste generation dropped to 172.04 tonnes; non-hazardous waste remained low at 13 tonnes. • Resource use per vehicle improved: electricity intensity declined to 1.12 MWh and water intensity to 14.53 tonnes. • A new wastewater treatment station and upgraded VOC control in paint and hazardous-waste areas support 100 % compliant emissions.
Product Responsibility and Innovation • No product recalls were recorded in 2025. • Six intelligent production lines and four digital workshops are now operational, enabling 100 % automated inspection of 235 safety-critical items. • Qingling and Bosch achieved 12 technical breakthroughs and secured 108 patents for hydrogen fuel-cell technology, delivering the first 500 heavy-duty trucks for the “Qingling Hydrogen Corridor” demonstration project.
Workforce and Safety • Headcount rose to 3,084 employees; turnover remained contained at 7.2 %. • Approximately 1,833 employees received training, averaging 8.1 hours for men and 3.1 hours for women; 253 special-operation staff were 100 % certified. • Zero work-related fatalities and zero lost-time injury days were recorded, validating the upgraded safety-management system and 22,000 person-times of safety training.
Supply Chain and Ethics • The active supplier base comprised 351 partners, of which 350 are domestic; annual performance reviews cover quality, delivery and ESG compliance. • All suppliers must adhere to anti-corruption clauses; no corruption cases were concluded during the year.
Community Investment • Cash donations totalled RMB 2.50 million, targeting rural revitalisation and community environmental projects. • Employees contributed more than 200 volunteer hours through programmes such as the “Green Home Co-construction Campaign”.
Outlook Qingling Motors intends to tighten carbon-emission targets, expand hydrogen-vehicle deployment and deepen supplier sustainability checks, underscoring its commitment to China’s “dual-carbon” goals and long-term value creation.
