Here are the biggest calls on Wall Street on Friday:

Susquehanna upgrades Dell to positive from neutral

The firm upgraded Dell following earnings on Thursday.

“Compelling case for multiple rerating: We previously argued for up to 1x FWD EV/sales [Enterprise Value-to-Sales] for OEMs like Dell. However, increased confidence in a sustainable 8–10% operating margin and 6% FCF margin profile supports rerating DELL to 3x EV/sales.”

RBC initiates Viper Energy as outperform

RBC called the company a “best-in-class mineral and royalty company.”

“We are initiating coverage of Viper Energy (VNOM) with a $58/ share price target and an Outperform rating. The company is advantaged given its scale, core Permian focus, inventory duration, and aligned operating partner.”

Bank of America upgrades SentinelOne to buy from neutral

Bank of America says buy the dip.

“SentinelOne reported an in-line but solid quarter, and we view the -18% after-hours decline as an attractive entry point.”

Macquarie upgrades XPeng to outperform from neutral

Macquarie said in its upgrade of Xpeng that the China EV has volume growth.

“Shares still have optionality from future investments in humanoids and robotaxi.”

JPMorgan downgrades Gap to neutral from overweight

JPMorgan downgraded the stock following earnings.

“We rate GAP Neutral. While CEO Dickson has implemented a foundation of improved merchandising & marketing across all four brands, we see see a mixed portoflio of results, with Gap brand outsized strength offset by Athleta ongoing challenges, in addition to mixed recent performance at Old Navy.”

Deutsche Bank upgrades Federal Realty to buy from hold

Deutsche says the real estate investment trust has a “superior growth profile.”

“That said, we are increasingly convinced from the FRT Investor Day last week that the company is likely to return to its historical superior growth profile vs peers from a combination of stronger internal and external growth, more efficient capital recycling and less earnings drag associated with leasing office space within its mixed use development projects.”

HSBC upgrades Snowflake to buy from hold

HSBC upgraded the stock following earnings.

“We upgrade our rating to Buy (from Hold) on stronger earnings momentum, improved AI monetisation visibility, and greater confidence that CoCo [cortex code] can improve Snowflake’s long-term growth trajectory, while maintain strong margin discipline.”

Roth initiates Ouster as buy

Roth says it sees revenue growth for the lidar technology company.

“We are initiating coverage on Ouster, Inc. (OUST) with a Buy rating and a $75 price target.”

CLSA upgrades Charles River to outperform from hold

CLSA says the clinical lab services company and says China is a “hidden tailwind” for the company.

“We upgrade Charles River (CRL) from HOLD to Outperform. Our more positive stance is driven by three factors: a more constructive regulatory tone in both China and the US toward cross-border biotech BD [business development], which could provide incremental support to CRL’s early-stage exposure...”

JPMorgan reiterates Nvidia as overweight

The firm says Nvidia is a top idea.

“We expect long-term positive fundamental trends to continue.”

Canaccord initiates Claritev as buy

Canaccord says the digital health tech company is on a “return to growth.”

“We initiate coverage on Claritev with a BUY rating and price target of $32.”

UBS downgrades Best Buy to neutral from buy

UBS says the risk/reward is more balanced following earnings.

“BBY had a good 1Q, but we now see balanced risk-reward over the near-term.”

UBS upgrades American Water Works to buy from neutral

UBS says the water company is “affordable and limited risk.”

“We upgrade AWK to Buy from Neutral due to declining regulatory overhang over the next few months and recent stock underperformance.”

Raymond James initiates Mechanics Bancorp as outperform

The firm says the west coast regional banks has a “low-risk balance sheet.”

“We are initiating coverage of Mechanics Bancorp (MCHB) with an Outperform rating and $17 price target. Mechanics is a West Coast regional bank with more than $22 billion of assets, anchored in CA and complemented by a growing footprint across WA, HI and OR.”

Bank of America reiterates Dell as buy

Bank of America called Dell’s earnings report on Thursday “best in class execution.”

“Historic beat & raise; momentum continues in 2H and C27.”

Bank of America reiterates Costco as buy

The firm called Costco a “steady Eddie” following earnings on Thursday.

“We reiterate our Buy rating; COST philosophy of leading with value and its weighting toward a higher income consumer gives us confidence share gains across categories will continue. COST reported F3Q EPS of $4.93, relatively in line with Street $4.92 and slightly below our $4.96 est.”

Truist reiterates Amazon and Alphabet as buy

Truist raised its price target on Amazon to $320 per share from $310. The firm also raised its price target on Alphabet to $430 per share from $415,

“We’re raising our ests for Google Cloud and AWS across both revenue and Capex above consensus. Looking at backlog (as of 3/31)+recent deals, cons. revenue ests for Google Cloud are below what they should be. ... .For AMZN, cons. is underestimating Capex for FY27 but also underestimating revenue growth.”

Bank of America initiates Select Water Solutions as buy

The firm says the water company is best positioned.

“We initiate coverage of Select Water (WTTR), a leading US full cycle water solutions business for the oil and gas industry, with a Buy rating and a $22/sh PO.”

Northland initiates Aurora Innovation as buy

Northland says the autonomous trucking company is firing on all cylinders.

“Aurora is leading the charge with 200 superhuman truck drivers this year. We see demand as almost unlimited with only a few competitors given the difficult technology challenge. Initiating coverage of AUR with an Outperform rating and $11 target.”
