HUTCHTEL HK (00215) has announced its annual results for the period ended December 31, 2025. The company reported revenue of HK$5.448 billion, representing an increase of 17% compared to the previous year. However, it recorded a loss attributable to shareholders of HK$25 million, a swing from profit to loss year-on-year. The basic loss per share was HK0.52 cent. The board has proposed a final dividend of HK5.21 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the profit from the Hong Kong business in 2025 was HK$18 million, a decrease of 42% from 2024. This was primarily due to a decline in bank interest income, although EBIT grew by 6% to HK$18 million. The Group's performance was adversely affected by its Macau business, which included a one-off provision for an onerous contract.
The Group's loss attributable to shareholders and loss per share for 2025 were HK$25 million and HK0.52 cent, respectively. Excluding the one-off provision for the onerous contract, the Group would have recorded a profit attributable to shareholders of HK$5 million.
