UNIVERSE ENT (01046) has announced its interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2025. Total revenue amounted to HK$57.78 million, representing a decrease of 76.8% compared to the same period last year. The loss attributable to the company's owners was HK$9.88 million, narrowing by 86.7% year-on-year. The loss per share was 1.09 HK cents. According to the announcement, the reduction in loss was mainly due to a decrease of approximately HK$64.5 million in impairment losses for film copyrights and films in production during the current period compared to the previous period.
