At the 7th Chushang Conference held in Wuhan, Hubei from October 28-30, 2025, under the theme "Chushang Moves Forward Together, Returning Home to Build a Pivot," Zhang Wenzhong, founder of DMALL and chairman of the Tianjin Entrepreneurs Association, delivered a speech highlighting four key points:

First, he emphasized the deep connection between Tianjin and Hubei entrepreneurs, stating that despite regional differences, they have always supported each other and worked collaboratively. From fighting the pandemic together to pursuing shared development goals, this bond has grown stronger. Zhang expressed his willingness to expand cooperation with Hubei brands, aligning business strategies with the province's development to channel more resources into the region.

Second, Zhang discussed how DMALL's AI-driven retail innovation model can boost domestic demand in Hubei. By providing high-quality supply, this new retail approach aims to become a powerful engine for Hubei's new development paradigm.

Third, he proposed enhanced collaboration between business associations and alumni networks to create a new hub for private sector cooperation in Hubei. The Tianjin Entrepreneurs Association and Nankai University Alumni Entrepreneurs Federation are ready to work with Chushang peers on industrial platforms, technological innovation, and open ecosystems to foster warmer enterprise cooperation, deeper chamber coordination, and stronger regional synergy.

Finally, Zhang reflected on the enduring nature of ecosystems, quoting Kevin Kelly's observation that "cities are nearly immortal." He extended this concept to Hubei, Wuhan University, and other institutions, stating they will persist as long as civilization exists. "We must cherish our hometowns, Hubei, our alma maters, and institutions like Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, just as we cherish Nankai," he concluded.
