MINSHENG EDU (01569) Issues Profit Warning: FY2025 to Swing to ≥ RMB210.00 Million Net Loss

Bulletin Express
Mar 13

Minsheng Education Group Company Limited (MINSHENG EDU, 01569) has issued a profit warning, projecting a net loss of not less than RMB210.00 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. This compares with a net profit of approximately RMB187.80 million in FY2024, excluding impairment charges and potential arbitration impact for both periods.

The Board identifies two primary factors behind the anticipated downturn:

1. Online education revenue fell sharply during the Period as market conditions deteriorated, resulting in a substantial loss for the Group’s online education segment.

2. Operating schools in Mainland China increased their investment in campus operations, leading to a significant rise in associated costs versus the prior year.

Management is still finalising the FY2025 consolidated results. The figures disclosed are based on unaudited management accounts and may be adjusted after review by independent auditors and the audit committee. The audited annual results are scheduled for release by the end of March 2026.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company’s securities in light of the projected loss and pending final figures.
