FUYAO GLASS (03606) released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing operational and sustainability metrics across its global footprint of 63 subsidiaries and nine major production hubs in China and overseas.
Financial snapshot • Revenue rose to 45.79 billion yuan, while net profit attributable to shareholders climbed to 9.31 billion yuan. • Taxes paid totaled 4.50 billion yuan; social contribution per share reached 8.58 yuan.
Climate and environmental performance • Group-wide carbon-emission intensity is targeted to fall 50% from the 2019 baseline by 2030; full carbon neutrality is pledged for 2040, with supply-chain neutrality slated for 2050. • 2025 greenhouse-gas emissions stood at 6.10 million tonnes CO₂-e, following a boundary expansion that now covers six new overseas subsidiaries. • Installed photovoltaic and waste-heat generation capacity reached 168.86 MWp, producing 268,454.75 MWh of green electricity. • 26 manufacturing sites (96.30% coverage) are ISO 14001 certified; 18 plants are rated “Green Factory” and two mines “Green Mine”.
Energy and resources • Total energy use in mainland China amounted to 6.59 million MWh; renewable generation displaced 32,992.89 tonnes of standard coal. • Water-reuse rate hit 93.58%; water consumption per m² of processed raw glass fell 15.58% year-on-year. • 566,300 tonnes of recycled cullet were reintegrated into production, of which 73.4% was reused internally.
People and workplace • The group employed 43,328 people; collective-bargaining coverage reached 53.36%. • Average training hours were 71.46 per employee; 5,465 safety-training sessions covered 402,148 participants. • 24 manufacturing entities (88.89%) hold ISO 45001 certification; the injury rate declined to 2.99‰.
Governance and ethics • All directors, managers and employees completed business-ethics training; 11 integrity-related reports were handled, with a 91% case-closure rate. • Internal-control or risk evaluations were conducted in 45 subsidiaries, achieving 100% coverage of production sites.
Supply-chain management • The company worked with 476 suppliers, 72.90% of whom signed the Sustainable Procurement Charter; 97.50% completed on-site CSR questionnaires. • All suppliers of tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold submitted conflict-mineral reports; 42.86% passed on-site CSR evaluations.
Social contribution • Fuyao Glass donated 2.46 million yuan to community projects, while the Heren Charity Foundation—established by founder Cho Tak Wong—channeled a further 1.60 billion yuan to public-welfare programs.
Board oversight and future commitments The Board reviewed and approved the report on 17 March 2026. Looking ahead, Fuyao Glass plans to deepen green-factory roll-outs, expand renewable-energy use, and maintain annual audits of environmental and social indicators to ensure alignment with its 2030 and 2040 climate milestones.
