From September 22 to 30, the United Nations headquarters in New York hosted a series of significant events commemorating the UN's 80th anniversary. Mr. Wu Haisheng, Chief Executive Officer of Qifu Technology, was invited to attend core activities during the UN General Assembly High-Level Week, jointly organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He served as the sole representative from Chinese fintech companies in this premier global digital governance dialogue.
The event, themed "Digital for Good: For Humanity and Prosperity," brought together heads of state and global business leaders to jointly advance cross-border cooperation under the Global Digital Compact framework. A key session focused on leveraging emerging technologies to promote global prosperity, which aligns closely with Qifu Technology's long-term commitment to digital technology innovation and technology-driven development. Currently, Qifu Technology is using artificial intelligence as its core driving force, upgrading its digital credit service system through intelligent agent technology to continuously provide affordable financial services to small and micro enterprises and urban-rural consumers, helping to improve social operational efficiency and development quality.
During the discussions, Wu Haisheng emphasized that inclusive development of digital technology is key to achieving sustainable development. Qifu Technology firmly believes that through responsible technological innovation, digital dividends can be more equitably distributed to every corner of the globe, contributing to global digital governance and prosperous development.
