SpaceX Reportedly Raises Japanese IPO Fundraising Target to $25 Billion

SpaceX has increased its targeted fundraising amount for its planned share issuance in Japan by a quarter, signaling strong demand from retail investors in the country.

According to regulatory filings, Space Exploration Technologies Corp is now seeking to raise up to $25 billion from Japanese investors, up from the $20 billion disclosed last week.

The filings show that Japanese investors are being allocated between 14.8 million and 18.5 million Class A shares, with a preliminary price set at $135 per share. The subscription registration for the Japanese portion is set to begin this Friday and will continue until later next week.
