Yuzhou Group Reports January-May Contract Sales of RMB 2.301 Billion

Property developer Yuzhou Group (01628) has released its operational data for May and the first five months of the year.

In May, the group achieved contracted sales of RMB 470 million, with a sales area of 36,722 square meters. The average selling price was RMB 12,852 per square meter. Within this total, sales settled through property-for-construction-payment arrangements amounted to RMB 28 million, covering an area of 4,069 square meters at an average price of RMB 6,800 per square meter.

The sales were broken down by entity type. The group's subsidiaries contributed contracted sales of RMB 218 million from an area of 17,968 square meters, averaging RMB 12,127 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales within this segment were RMB 18 million from 2,617 square meters, averaging RMB 6,892 per square meter.

Joint ventures recorded contracted sales of RMB 43 million from 4,346 square meters, with an average price of RMB 9,963 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales here were RMB 5 million from 536 square meters, averaging RMB 8,851 per square meter.

Associated companies generated contracted sales of RMB 209 million from 14,408 square meters, achieving a higher average price of RMB 14,526 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales in this category were RMB 5 million from 916 square meters, averaging RMB 5,337 per square meter.

For the cumulative period from January to May, the group's total contracted sales reached RMB 2.301 billion, with a total sales area of 176,350 square meters. The cumulative average selling price was RMB 13,057 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales for the five-month period totaled RMB 220 million from 23,784 square meters, averaging RMB 9,223 per square meter.

On a cumulative basis by entity type, subsidiaries achieved sales of RMB 1.115 billion from 84,081 square meters, averaging RMB 13,257 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales within this segment were RMB 130 million from 15,610 square meters, averaging RMB 8,324 per square meter.

Joint ventures recorded cumulative sales of RMB 165 million from 16,320 square meters, with an average price of RMB 10,124 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales here were RMB 30 million from 3,373 square meters, averaging RMB 8,740 per square meter.

Associated companies contributed cumulative sales of RMB 1.021 billion from 75,949 square meters, averaging RMB 13,465 per square meter. Property-for-construction-payment sales in this category were RMB 60 million from 4,801 square meters, averaging RMB 12,484 per square meter.
