On February 26, Ni Fei, President of the Terminal Division of ZTE Corporation and President of Nubia Technology Co., Ltd., stated via social media that the integration of Samsung's S26 series with Gemini has introduced autonomous driving-related features to smartphones. He expressed pleasure that global tech giants are officially entering this field, albeit three months after Nubia's M153 Doubao smartphone technology preview release. This development confirms that the AI agent technology pioneered by Nubia is becoming a shared direction for the mobile industry.
Ni Fei also remarked that while the Samsung S26 and Gemini combination similarly employs a GUI approach, it only achieves partial functionalities of the Nubia M153, which he finds somewhat disappointing. The Nubia M153 has already advanced smartphone autonomous driving to a full-scenario, system-level application, rather than being limited to single-scenario demonstrations. It appears that in terms of the depth and scenario completeness of AI agent implementation on mobile devices, Nubia continues to lead the industry as a pioneer.
"The industry requires more partners to jointly explore this space, and we look forward to Samsung and Google further enhancing scenario coverage and system-level depth. Together, we can drive the integration of AI smartphones into users' daily lives," Ni Fei added.
