Recently, Disney Adventure cruise ship has postponed certain voyage operations, impacting travelers' itineraries. Trip.com Group Limited announced on the evening of September 16 that it will provide free change or full refund services for qualifying related flight and hotel bookings, with the platform absorbing the associated costs.
According to reports, this protection plan applies to Trip.com cruise customers affected by the Disney Adventure cruise delay (departure dates between December 15, 2025, and March 12, 2026). Trip.com will provide coverage for affected customers who booked round-trip flights to Singapore and local Singapore hotel accommodations through the Trip.com platform within 7 days before or after their original itinerary.
Trip.com stated that its customer service team will contact each affected customer individually by September 30, 2025, offering two solutions: "free changes" or "cancellation without loss." For any additional losses incurred during the order modification or cancellation process, Trip.com promises to refund the corresponding fees through Trip.com wallet no later than the end of September, aiming to minimize customers' actual losses.
