Recently, BANK OF CHINA (BoC) has unveiled its newly upgraded *Personal Pension Asset Allocation Plan (2025 Edition)*, adhering to a "customer-centric" approach by addressing key challenges in pension planning and investment. The plan introduces three major enhancements:

1. **Diversified Allocation Strategies**: Tailored asset allocation solutions are provided based on clients' risk preferences and life stages. Notably, index funds and other investment tools have been added for clients seeking exposure to equity markets and economic growth opportunities, ensuring greater flexibility.

2. **Expanded Product Selection**: BoC has broadened its partnerships with leading institutions, including ICBC Wealth Management, to offer a wider range of pension products, enriching clients' options.

3. **Clearer Practical Guidance**: The plan features updated product recommendations with concise descriptions and risk-return profiles, transforming complex financial strategies into accessible, actionable guides.

BoC is committed to evolving from "wealth management" to "life planning," focusing on four key areas—clients, products, services, and financial literacy—to become a lifelong partner in retirement preparedness:

- **Client-Centric Services**: - For working professionals: Emphasis on pension wealth planning and asset allocation, including family-oriented solutions. - For retirees: A holistic ecosystem covering healthcare, lifestyle, and emerging needs like rehabilitation care.

- **Comprehensive Product Portfolio**: A full spectrum of pension financial products spanning asset allocation, retirement planning, risk protection, and wealth inheritance, anchored by a "Four-Bucket" allocation model.

- **Enhanced Service & Education**: - Upgraded digital (age-friendly mobile banking) and physical (branch renovations) channels to improve elderly client support. - Community-focused financial literacy initiatives, integrating into local "15-minute living circles" for broader consumer protection.

As a pioneer in China’s personal pension system, BoC offered over 260 pension products by September 2025, leading the market in savings deposits, wealth management, mutual funds, and commercial pension insurance.

Upholding its "Finance for the People" mission, BoC aims to solidify its position as a trusted "Pension Finance Leader" through professional expertise, innovative products, smart technology, and compassionate client engagement.
