According to reports, the Report was produced by Weibo with academic support from People's Daily Online Public Opinion Data Center. The evaluation targets include all officially certified institutional Weibo accounts nationwide, with an evaluation system covering four dimensions: communication power, interaction power, credibility, and guidance power. The data statistics period spans from January 1 to June 30, 2025, aiming to promote government institutions' ability to respond to public concerns and solve practical problems for citizens through new media platforms. This represents one of the most influential brand activities in the government new media sector. The regional government Weibo competitiveness aims to assess each region's comprehensive application capability and effectiveness of new media, focusing on evaluating the communication power, service capability, and interaction power of local government Weibo matrices. In terms of Guangxi government Weibo city competitiveness index, Nanning also delivered outstanding results, maintaining its leading position in Guangxi.
