From November 2nd to 3rd, the inaugural Financial Digital Innovation Competition for Transportation Enterprises was successfully held in Changsha. Li Tiantian, a participant from the Hubei Expressway Group’s Chutian Expressway Financial Shared Services Center, stood out with her exceptional expertise, securing first place in the finals and winning the competition’s highest honor—the Grand Prize.

As the first nationwide financial-themed event in the transportation industry, the competition was hosted by the China Highway and Transportation Society and organized by its Transportation Investment and Financing Branch. Guided by the core principles of "promoting friendship, learning, and innovation through competition," it attracted nearly 400 financial elites from transportation enterprises across the country.

The competition was fiercely contested, with Li Tiantian advancing to the finals after ranking first in the preliminary rounds. Facing formidable opponents in the finals, she remained composed and meticulous in her responses, demonstrating not only profound professional knowledge and practical skills but also showcasing the robust talent development within Chutian Expressway’s financial team.

"Thanks to the company’s training and trust, I had the courage to challenge myself on a national stage. The preparation journey was not just about accumulating knowledge but also about the unwavering support from leaders and colleagues," Li Tiantian remarked. Her victory was no coincidence—through continuous professional development, she systematically studied materials such as the "Enterprise Accounting Standards" and "Tax Practice," earning qualifications including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Intermediate Accountant, and Certified Tax Agent (CTA).

At work, she is diligent and detail-oriented, overseeing financial accounting and tax-related tasks, ensuring accurate filings, compliance, and tax risk management. During the competition preparation, Li Tiantian dedicated herself wholeheartedly, reviewing over 10 professional books, including "Intermediate Accounting Practice," "Financial Management in the Highway Industry," and "Tax Practice in Transportation," and completing more than 2,000 practice questions to solidify her foundation for success.

Li Tiantian’s triumph reflects the professionalism and pragmatic approach of Chutian Expressway’s financial team, underscoring the company’s elevated financial management capabilities. Recently, the company achieved an AAA credit rating, entering the industry’s highest credit tier. It has also advanced its direct financing system, issuing bonds five times this year, raising a total of 3.38 billion yuan at an average cost of just 1.82%, setting industry benchmarks. Notably, its 2025 corporate bond achieved the lowest interest rate among similar-term bonds issued by local state-owned enterprises in Hubei and was the first "Yangtze River Economic Belt Sci-Tech Innovation Bond" nationwide.

Moving forward, Chutian Expressway’s Financing and Financial Department, along with the Financial Shared Services Center, will leverage this competition as a catalyst to further strengthen talent development, enhance financial management precision and intelligence, and drive the company’s high-quality growth.
