IREN signed a five-year AI infrastructure cloud services contract with NVIDIA valued at about USD 3.4 billion. Shares of the company jumped 7% in overnight trading.

Deal covers managed GPU cloud services for NVIDIA internal AI and research workloads, including orchestration and cluster management software with Mirantis.

Jack Dorsey-led Block raised its full-year outlook on Thursday as the payments firm benefited from resilient consumer spending and strong growth in its core businesses.

The Oakland, California-based company now expects annual gross profit to be $12.33 billion in 2026, compared with its previous forecast of $12.20 billion. Shares of the company jumped 7% in overnight trading.

Investors are cheering Rocket Lab's backlog and expansion plans on Thursday, sending shares 5.5% higher. The SpaceX competitor said it has a record backlog of $2.2 billion, more than the $2 billion expected by Wall Street, according to the FactSet consensus. That's up more than 20% on a sequential basis.

The boost comes after Rocket Lab signed 36 new launch contacts in the first quarter, or more than it sold in the entirety of 2025. It has more than 70 contracted missions, including some for the Pentagon. In March, Rocket Lab won a $190 million Defense Department contract, its largest ever.

Microchip Technology forecast first-quarter revenue above estimates on Thursday, betting on strong demand for its ​chips used in industrial and automotive sectors.

Shares ‌of the Chandler, Arizona-based company rose more than 3% in overnight trading.

SoundHound AI reported revenue of $44.2 million for the March quarter - up 52% from a year ago, and ahead of the FactSet consensus for $42.6 million. But SoundHound's (SOUN) adjusted loss of 6 cents per share came in below expectations for a loss of 4 cents a share.

Shares of the voice-AI company were down nearly 12% in overnight trading.

CoreWeave Inc raised the lower end of its annual capital expenditure forecast on Thursday, citing a rise in the prices of components, sending the cloud infrastructure technology's shares down 9% in overnight trading.

Applied Optoelectronics shares dropped over 6% in overnight trading after the company released its Q1 2026 financial report. Both the first-quarter results and the second-quarter guidance for revenue and earnings per share fell below market expectations. The stock had already finished the regular trading session down 11.7%.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global on Thursday recorded a second-consecutive quarter of losses, as a crypto-driven market volatility sapped the company's trading volumes during a period of broad digital-asset selloff.

Shares of the company, which posted a surprise quarterly loss, were down over 4% in overnight trading. They have lost nearly 15% of their value so far in 2026.
