SINOFERT (00297) rose more than 8% before noon, reaching a 7.74% gain at press time to trade at HK$1.67, with a turnover of HK$88.57 million.
During the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) on November 5, 2025, SINOFERT signed a memorandum with Canadian potash supplier Canpotex for the 2026-2028 period. Under the agreement, SINOFERT will retain exclusive rights to import Canpotex's red potash ("Maple Harmony") for distribution in the Chinese market.
The renewal of this memorandum is expected to deepen strategic cooperation between the two parties, supporting domestic agricultural production. It holds particular significance in ensuring stable and efficient potassium fertilizer supply for farmers in southern China.
