Gold and Silver Prices Rebound

On February 13 local time, spot gold rose 2.41%, climbing back above $5,000 to $5,042.808 per ounce, marking a year-to-date increase of 16.78%. Spot silver increased 2.81% to $77.338 per ounce, with a gain of 8.05% since the start of the year.

International precious metals futures closed broadly higher on Friday. According to Wind data, COMEX gold futures advanced 2.33% to $5,063.80 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose 2.10% to $77.27 per ounce.
