Tencent Games has announced its winter vacation gaming restrictions for minors, covering the period from February 5 to March 5, 2026. During these 29 days, underage players will only be permitted to log in between 8 PM and 9 PM on designated gaming days, with total playtime capped at 15 hours for the entire holiday period.

In response to increased family interaction and complex internet usage scenarios during the winter break, Tencent's Guardian Platform has introduced experimental AI technology features. The platform now offers three new functions: "AI Gaming Weekly Report," "One-Click AI Control," and "Parent AI Assistant." These tools aim to lower the barrier for parental supervision and help shift parents' approach from reactive restriction to proactive, scientific management of their children's gaming activities.
