Citigroup has increased CEO Jane Fraser's compensation for 2025 to $42 million, placing her among the highest-paid banking leaders in the United States. The 22% raise, disclosed in filings on Thursday, follows a 66% surge in Citigroup's stock over the past year, outperforming every other major Wall Street bank. As a result, Fraser's total annual compensation was only $1 million less than that of JPMorgan Chase's Jamie Dimon. Her compensation package includes a $1.5 million base salary, $6.1 million in cash incentives, with the remainder coming from stock awards. Fraser received a retention bonus valued at $25 million when she was appointed chair of the board in October, which will vest over a five-year period.
