After months of waiting, the schooling issues for children in the Evergrande City area of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone have finally been resolved.

In September 2025, Zhengzhou University Experimental Primary School's Evergrande City campus has been renamed as Yuxiang Road Campus, officially welcoming its first batch of first-grade students. Students who were previously temporarily placed at nearby schools have also begun returning to the new campus.

In April this year, parents from multiple residential communities in the High-tech Zone's Evergrande City area, including Jade Court and Hibiscus Garden, had reported that the supporting primary school promised by developers during property purchases had remained unfinished for years, leaving hundreds of children facing uncertainty about their schooling. At that time, staff from the High-tech Zone's Culture, Sports and Education Department told reporters that the school would commence enrollment as scheduled in September.

On September 5th, reporters visited Zhengzhou University Experimental Primary School (Yuxiang Road Campus) located on Guanzhuang Road and observed that while some teaching buildings were still under construction, the campus was already filled with children's laughter and joy. According to school staff and parents, this year's first grade enrolled 6 classes with over 60 students per class. Third and fifth-grade students who were previously temporarily placed at nearby Fuxin Experimental Middle School have also returned to the new campus. Once all teaching buildings are completed, all temporarily placed students will return.

Reporters observed on-site that the teaching building on the south side of the school has taken shape and entered the interior painting and decoration phase, while campus road construction is proceeding intensively. Subsequently, reporters contacted the High-tech Zone's Education, Culture and Sports Department, where staff indicated that remaining construction work is planned for completion in October, at which time students from other grades who are temporarily placed elsewhere will return.

The campus is expected to provide a comprehensive educational solution for the residential communities in the Evergrande City area, addressing the long-standing schooling concerns of local families.
