SUNNY OPTICAL Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 2382.HK) voluntarily issued an announcement disclosing shipment volumes for major products in August 2025.

In the optical components segment, glass spherical lens shipments reached 3,062 thousand pieces, representing a month-over-month increase of 15.1% and a year-over-year decrease of 2.4%. Mobile phone lens shipments totaled 115,354 thousand pieces, up 17.0% month-over-month and down 7.1% year-over-year, primarily due to increased customer demand. Automotive lens shipments were 10,067 thousand pieces, declining 11.3% month-over-month but rising 19.3% year-over-year, mainly attributed to enhanced customer demand, with the monthly decline resulting from delayed shipments to the following month at customer request. Other lens shipments amounted to 9,081 thousand pieces, down 15.6% month-over-month and 30.9% year-over-year.

For optoelectronic products, mobile phone camera module shipments reached 42,103 thousand pieces, declining 1.2% month-over-month but increasing 6.3% year-over-year. Other optoelectronic product shipments totaled 5,702 thousand pieces, surging 30.9% month-over-month but decreasing 4.3% year-over-year.

In the optical instruments category, microscopy instrument shipments reached 20,243 pieces, representing a remarkable 57.3% month-over-month increase and 45.1% year-over-year growth.

For the cumulative period from January to August 2025, glass spherical lens shipments totaled 18,342 thousand pieces, mobile phone lens shipments reached 807,463 thousand pieces, automotive lens shipments were 86,198 thousand pieces, and other lens shipments amounted to 75,969 thousand pieces. Mobile phone camera module cumulative shipments totaled 313,090 thousand pieces, while other optoelectronic products reached 31,467 thousand pieces. Microscopy instrument cumulative shipments were 152,050 pieces.
