Ultra Clean Holdings (UCTT) stock plummeted 11.23% in after-hours trading on Monday, following the release of the company's fourth-quarter earnings report. Despite beating analyst estimates for revenue and earnings per share, the company provided disappointing guidance for the first quarter of 2025.
According to the earnings release, Ultra Clean forecast revenue for Q1 2025 to be in the range of $505 million to $555 million, which fell short of analyst expectations. Additionally, the company's projected adjusted earnings per share of $0.22 to $0.42 for the upcoming quarter was lower than analysts had anticipated.
The weak guidance seems to have overshadowed Ultra Clean's solid performance in the fourth quarter of 2024, where the company reported revenue of $563.3 million, beating estimates of $559.19 million. Earnings per share of $0.51 also surpassed the consensus estimate of $0.44.
