CHINA UNICOM Aims to Capitalize on Low-Altitude Economy, Build Integrated Low-Altitude AI Network

CHINA UNICOM has announced its 2025 financial results, reporting operating revenue of 392.223 billion yuan, a 0.68% increase year-over-year. Profit attributable to equity holders (net profit) reached 20.816 billion yuan, up 0.98% compared to the previous year.

During the 2025 annual results presentation, CHINA UNICOM's Chairman and CEO stated that the company will seize opportunities in the low-altitude economy to develop an integrated low-altitude AI network combining communication, sensing, navigation, and computing capabilities. The company has also obtained a business license for satellite mobile communications and plans to promote large-scale mobile phone direct-to-satellite services.

The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of 0.1329 yuan per share (tax inclusive). Combined with the interim dividend of 0.2841 yuan per share (tax inclusive), the total annual dividend amounts to 0.417 yuan per share (tax inclusive), representing a 3.1% year-over-year increase. The dividend payout ratio has risen to 61.3%.

The company places great importance on shareholder returns and has consistently worked to reduce costs and increase revenue to enhance profitability and reward shareholders over many years.
