On March 26, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. announced its full-year 2025 results. The new business value for the life and health insurance segment reached 36.897 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 29.3%. The new business value margin (based on standard premiums) stood at 28.5%, rising by 5.8 percentage points compared to the previous year.
The new business value from the agent channel grew by 10.4% year-on-year, while the new business value per agent increased by 17.2%. The bancassurance channel demonstrated explosive growth, with its new business value surging by 138.0% compared to the same period last year. The contribution of channels including bancassurance, community financial services, and others to Ping An Life's total new business value increased by 12.1 percentage points year-on-year.
