On July 9th, numerous users reported encountering issues with the Alipay Huabei service when attempting to make repayments, as the repayment page failed to load properly.
User-uploaded screenshots indicated that accessing the Huabei page resulted in a "network busy" message or a notice on the bill page stating "bill temporarily unavailable due to institutional maintenance."
In response to these reports, inquiries were made to Ant Group, but no official comment was received at the time of writing.
The official Huabei customer service stated, "The system upgrade has now been completed, and you can use the service normally. If your account was in the grace period's final day and the loan was not repaid, any interest incurred can be addressed by contacting us."
