COSCO SHIP HOLD (01919) declined more than 3% following the release of its annual results. At the time of writing, the stock was down 2.19%, trading at HKD 15.6, with a turnover of HKD 410 million.

On March 20, the company reported its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of RMB 219.504 billion, a decrease of 6.14% year-on-year. Profit attributable to equity shareholders was RMB 30.86 billion, down 37.24% compared to the previous year. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 1.99. The board proposed a final dividend of RMB 0.44 per share.

During the reporting period, three green methanol-powered vessels were successfully delivered and commenced operations. Additionally, the company placed new orders for fourteen 18,500 TEU methanol dual-fuel container ships. By the end of the reporting period, the group had a total of 42 green vessels, either in operation or under construction, with a combined capacity of nearly 780,000 TEUs. These advanced, large-scale, and environmentally friendly vessels are expected to significantly enhance the group's core competitiveness and provide a solid foundation for supporting stable, efficient, and low-carbon operations in global trade arteries in the future.
