HKBN Shareholders Deposit Shares at CICC HK with a Market Value of HKD 5.045 Billion

According to recent information from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on October 16, shareholders of HKBN <01310>HKBN deposited shares with China International Capital Corporation (CICC) Hong Kong Securities, with a total market value of HKD 5.045 billion, accounting for 48.18% of the shares. HKBN previously announced that they received notification from China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited (CMHK), indicating that this was merely to restore the company's public float in accordance with Listing Rule 8.08(1). CMHK entered into a binding placement arrangement with the placement agent on September 19, 2025, agreeing to sell 47.925 million existing shares of the company (placement shares) to independent third-party assignees. The placement shares represent approximately 3.24% of the company's total issued shares as of the date of this announcement.
