A-LIVING (03319) announced its results for the six months ended June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of RMB 6.465 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 8.3%. Profit attributable to shareholders of the company reached RMB 350 million, compared to a loss of RMB 1.646 billion in the same period last year. Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.25, and the company proposed an interim dividend of RMB 0.062 per share (pre-tax).
During the period, the group's four major business segments contributed revenue as follows: (i) Property management services revenue decreased by 0.8% year-on-year to RMB 5.328 billion; (ii) Value-added services to owners revenue decreased by 32.7% year-on-year to RMB 519.5 million; (iii) City services revenue decreased by 14.6% year-on-year to RMB 577 million (restated); and (iv) Extended value-added services revenue decreased by 82.4% year-on-year to RMB 40.9 million.
Facing deep industry adjustments, the group has consistently maintained its owner-centric approach, continuously improving service quality to meet residents' expectations for "good properties" and "good services." Meanwhile, responding to market changes and upgraded demands, the company has balanced quality with efficiency, flexibly adjusted its service and product portfolio, and innovatively launched diversified service products.
Despite facing cost pressures and changes in owners' spending levels, the group achieved a turnaround to profitability in the first half through optimizing business structure, focusing on core businesses, controlling operational risks, and enhancing operational efficiency, maintaining overall scale and stable operations. Additionally, under external environmental and competitive pressures, the group's business has demonstrated resilience for sustainable development.
As of June 30, 2025, the group's property management area under management and contracted area were 516.7 million square meters and 692.3 million square meters respectively, covering various property types including residential and non-residential properties.
