NIRAKU (01245) announced that on October 16, 2025 (after trading hours), NBI, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, entered into a sales agreement with Keeth Partners, an independent third-party real estate broker, for the acquisition of land and buildings located in Nagai, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, for a total price of 791 million JPY. The transaction is expected to be completed by November 4, 2025. The property includes nine separate plots of land in Nagai, covering a total area of approximately 1,411.43 square meters. The buildings on the land consist of five structures with a total floor area of around 1,265.60 square meters, which are currently operated as a traditional Japanese inn named "Atami Yamakan." Omine is the current registered owner of the land and buildings. One of the group's main business activities is operating hotels in Japan, and in recent years, they have added ryokans and traditional hot spring inns to their hotel portfolio. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Japan's tourism industry has seen a robust recovery, with an increasing number of foreign visitors traveling to Japan for leisure. The group's management holds a cautiously optimistic view on the continuous recovery and development potential of Japan’s tourism sector. The buildings located on the land, being a longstanding traditional inn, offer a highly attractive resort location for leisure travelers. Nagai is known for its fishing traditions, harbor views, and lush hilly landscapes, and is situated in the upscale community of Atami City, a top hot spring resort destination in Japan. With a mild climate and rich ecological environment, Nagai has become a distinct tourist resort area, particularly known for its marine leisure resources and high-quality hot spring facilities. The land possesses a private hot spring source, providing hot spring water directly from the source. With the incorporation of this strategically located traditional inn into the group’s hotel portfolio, management believes that the group will be able to better seize the opportunities arising from the recovery and growth potential of Japan’s tourism industry.
