On the evening of August 20th, during the Q2 investor conference call, Li Yanhong, co-founder and CEO of Baidu, announced that as of July, 64% of Baidu's mobile search result pages contained AI-generated content, representing a significant increase from 35% in April.
Li Yanhong stated that Baidu is gradually replacing traditional link-based results with structured, intelligent, and multimodal AI answers, "rather than simply substituting AI-generated summaries directly as search results."
