On Monday, Chinese new energy vehicle concept stocks traded on US exchanges posted broad gains, with Li Auto (LI.US) climbing over 5%, NIO (NIO.US) advancing more than 3%, and XPeng Motors (XPEV.US) rising nearly 3%.
On the news front, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released the "Payment Regulation Initiative for Supplier Accounts of Automotive OEMs" on September 15th. On the same day, 17 major automotive manufacturers including FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, SAIC, BAIC, GAC, JAC, Seres, Chery, Geely, Great Wall, BYD, Li Auto, NIO, Leapmotor, XPeng, and Xiaomi Auto all expressed their commitment to actively implementing the payment regulation initiative. The companies stated they will work to establish a collaborative and mutually beneficial development ecosystem between OEMs and parts suppliers, jointly promoting high-quality development of the automotive industry.
