Bank of Zhengzhou (6196) Publishes Third Quarter 2025 Performance Update

Bank of Zhengzhou (the “Bank”) reported a 3.81% year-on-year increase in operating income to RMB9.41 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2025. Net profit attributable to equity shareholders reached RMB2.28 billion, signifying a 1.56% increase from the same period last year. For the third quarter alone, operating income stood at RMB2.71 billion, up 2.01% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to equity shareholders was RMB651.69 million, slightly rising by 0.22% year-on-year.

During the reporting period, the Bank’s total assets climbed 9.93% from the end of 2024 to RMB743.55 billion, propelled mainly by growth in its loan book. As of 30 September 2025, gross loans and advances to customers amounted to RMB406.72 billion, increasing 4.91% over year-end 2024. Deposits from customers reached RMB459.52 billion, marking a 13.59% surge over the same comparative period. The Bank’s non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.76%, slightly lower than 1.79% at the end of 2024. Its allowance to non-performing loans sat at 186.17%.

Capital adequacy remained relatively stable: the capital adequacy ratio was 12.00%, while the tier-one and core tier-one capital adequacy ratios registered 10.74% and 8.76% respectively. The Bank’s liquidity coverage ratio stood at 208.57%, while the leverage ratio was at 6.76%.

Management attributed ongoing support to the real economy, with focus on local strategic projects, as key drivers of lending growth. Initiatives included financing manufacturing, urban renewal, and small and micro enterprises. The Bank also noted efforts to enhance technology finance, serving innovation-focused firms, and deepening commitments in green finance to support clean energy and other eco-friendly projects.
