On August 20th, the first AI animation short series "Tomorrow's Monday" adapted from Zhihu's Salt Story platform launched on Tencent Video and Douyin. This marks the first time Salt Story IP has attempted AI animation short series adaptation. Previously, Salt Story has authorized nearly 100 works for short series adaptations.
"Tomorrow's Monday" is based on an original novel created by Salt Story author Xu Jiuwangchuan. The story tells a heartwarming tale of someone who becomes a zombie during an apocalypse but still maintains human emotions and protects their family. Readers have praised it as "a breath of fresh air in zombie fiction." The work has a solid reader base on Salt Story and features an anti-routine worldview of "system advance warning by one year," making it highly suitable for visual presentation.
After several months of production, "Tomorrow's Monday" finally meets audiences in the form of an animated short series. This represents the first AI-powered animation short series adapted from Salt Story IP. Production company Pole Interactive Technology revealed that AI participation in the series exceeded 50%.
