China Life Insurance President Li Mingguang: Developing Sales Personnel Qualification Grading System Research, Implementation to Follow Regulatory Guidelines

China Life Insurance Company Limited held its interim results conference on August 28. Company President Li Mingguang announced that the individual insurance channel continues to advance marketing system reforms during the first half of the year, consistently enhancing the professional and vocational standards of the sales force. As of the end of June, individual insurance sales personnel totaled 592,000, maintaining fundamental stability.

Li Mingguang indicated that the company is currently conducting research on establishing a sales personnel qualification grading system based on the industry's sales personnel classification framework. The implementation of this grading system will proceed in accordance with regulatory requirements in subsequent phases.

Regarding the bancassurance channel, the company has actively promoted channel transformation through implementing unified reporting and implementation policies while reducing costs and improving efficiency. During the first half of the year, all core indicators across bancassurance channels achieved comprehensive improvement.
