CHINA POWER (02380) has achieved a significant milestone in its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance, with MSCI Inc upgrading its rating from 'BBB' to 'A' in its 2025 assessment. This marks the highest ESG rating ever attained by a central state-owned power generation enterprise in China within the MSCI framework, reflecting two consecutive years of steady improvement and underscoring the company’s alignment with global sustainability excellence.

The upgrade highlights CHINA POWER’s robust integration of ESG principles into its corporate strategy and daily operations, adopting international best practices to establish a systematic and professional ESG management framework. On the environmental front, the company has accelerated its transition to clean energy, significantly expanding its wind and solar power capacity to support national carbon reduction goals.
